A COWPER FINDS A CHAINED OUT PUP IN THE RAIN AND AGREES TO INCLUDE HIM IN HIS LIFE
|ILOVEMYDOGSOMUCH SAYS THAT ONE DAY WHILE ON DUTY, AN NYPD COP FOUND AN ANIMAL IN SUFFERING THAT HE COULDN’T IGNORE.
Michael Pascale noticed a small puppy in a public park, shivering, tethered out in the rain, and surrounded by shattered beer bottles and needles. The dog looked up at the officer with eyes that seemed to be pleading, “Help me.”
Officer Pascale was determined to help the dog and rescue him from the precarious predicament. He took the puppy to the Brooklyn Animal Care Center, where he was supposed to put it on hold for 72 hours in the hopes that its owner would come forward. Michael promised the dog that he would return. “Cherish no concern.” As he texted his wife about the situation, she said, “Bring him home!”
For now, they were engaged in a game of waiting. To keep Joey company, the officer would pay him as many visits as possible. After then, the hold was released, allowing Michael to bring the dog home! He declared, “He will never experience anything like that again.” These two were meant to be, and in the end, everything worked out.
